About Me
Hi there, I’m Madeline!
I’m a busy mom of three and the owner of Wellness Fitness here in Johnstown, Colorado. I’m also passionate about helping females of all ages achieve their fitness goals through various stages of life.
When I was postpartum with my second child, I quickly learned that I had a diastasis that was not resolving easily. It was impacting my ability to sit up when I was laying down, do exercises like a plank or push up, and was contributing to other pelvic floor concerns. The people in my circle were generally shocked by this, because I had stayed active throughout my pregnancy and was a generally fit and active person.
But here’s the thing…
Things like diastasis recti can (and do) happen to anyone, along with a whole host of other core and pelvic floor symptoms. Being active during your pregnancy doesn’t prevent this. However, understanding these issues, how to manage them, and how to heal and strengthen your body postpartum are all things that we can do. This is where I step in as your coach.
When we are pregnant and postpartum, we are not fragile. But we are also not invincible. I believe it’s essential to recognize the balance of these two things. I also believe women deserve a coach that’s well-informed on exercise modifications and considerations in relation to your core and pelvic health.
You deserve to have someone in your corner as you navigate exercise in pregnancy and postpartum.
